Who Can Appear in FBISE HSSC-I 2nd Annual Exam 2026?

The HSSC Part 1 2nd Annual Examination is intended for eligible candidates who need another opportunity after the first annual examination or fall into another permitted category.

Candidates may include students who:

  • Were absent in the HSSC Part 1 1st Annual Examination 2026.
  • Have compartment or failed subjects.
  • Are appearing for grade improvement.
  • Want to appear in additional subjects.
  • Had their examination form cancelled or were unable to submit it for the first annual examination.
  • Cancelled their HSSC-I result and are eligible to appear again.
  • Are fresh candidates where permitted under FBISE rules.

Students should confirm their eligibility and category before submitting the admission form.

New HSSC-I Paper Pattern for Five Subjects

FBISE has introduced a restructured paper pattern for five HSSC-I subjects from the 2nd Annual Examination 2026.

The revised pattern applies to:

  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Computer Science

Under the new pattern, the paper will have 50% MCQs and 50% descriptive questions.

However, the revised pattern does not necessarily apply to every reappearing candidate. Fresh candidates, first-time appearing students, and candidates who cancelled their HSSC-I result will follow the new pattern, while candidates appearing again under the reappearing category will follow the existing paper pattern.

Students should therefore identify their examination category before starting their final preparation.

How to Pay FBISE HSSC Part 1 Exam Fee

Candidates can deposit the HSSC Part 1 2nd Annual examination fee through the payment methods specified by FBISE.

The fee can be deposited using a system-generated bank challan at a nearby Habib Bank Limited (HBL) branch.

Other available payment methods include:

  • EasyPaisa
  • JazzCash

After making the payment, students should keep their transaction details or payment record safely. This information may be useful if there is an issue with fee verification.

Important Instructions for HSSC-I Candidates

Students should carefully review their admission form before final submission. Once the form has been finally submitted, changes to subjects or groups will not be allowed.

Candidates should also be aware that admission forms cannot be cancelled within 10 days before the commencement of the examination.

As the FBISE HSSC Part 1 2nd Annual Examination 2026 is scheduled to start on October 28, 2026, students should complete their admission process well before the examination date.

The most important point for HSSC-I candidates is to submit the form within the normal-fee deadline of September 21, 2026 whenever possible. Students who miss this deadline will have to submit the form under the double or triple fee schedule.
